Fern Bay Motel is a busy motel located at Fern Bay and is only 20 mins from Newcastle.

We are looking for a casual front of house receptionist, someone who is a great communicator, has an outgoing and friendly personality, who is punctual and reliable.

This position will consist of approx. 20 hours per week. The hours are 10am - 2pm with some shifts from 2pm - 9pm on a 7 day week roster.

Duties Include, but are not limited to:

  • Checking guests in and out
  • Reconciling daily transactions, preparing tax invoices etc.
  • Managing accounts
  • Delivering and collecting room service
  • General Cleaning and assisting house keepers when required
  • Any other duties that maybe required to keep the motel clean & tidy
  • Current RSA is required

  • Morning shift
  • Rotating roster
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Fern Bay, NSW 2295: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • MS Office: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (required)
