A day in the life in our Petstock Store...

• Part of the leadership team, you will lead by example, mentoring & inspiring your team on a daily basis
• Support your Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve & develop their knowledge and skills
• Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience
• Support your Store Manager & Assistant Store Manager in stock/inventory management, ensuring stock is maintained and accurate
• Assist in managing visual merchandising (VM) of stock displays, ensuring VM standards are kept
• Be proactive in making sure you keep your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services we provide
• Contribute to a fun, supportive culture instore where the team loves coming to work every day
• Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team

What we need...

• Experience in junior retail management
• Experience in stock management
• Demonstrated success in building sales and people management
• Demonstrated ability to achieve & exceed sales targets
• Established business acumen skills
• Ability to be flexible in order to meet changing work conditions
• Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
