Payroll Specialist

About the Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual for this standalone Payroll function.

• The delivery of accurate and timely fortnightly payroll processes
• Providing assistance with any payrelated queries
• Maintenance of accurate employee data within the payroll system and performing regular data integrity checks
• Reconciliation of payrollrelated GL accounts
• Processing and maintaining Leave balances
• Managing the payroll side of staff benefits
• Novated Leases, Company funded Parental Pay, Purchased Leave, Employment anniversary bonus leave
• Processing yearend Payroll reconciliation and EOM reporting
• Preparing and processing Payroll Tax and Superannuation payments
• Identification and implementation of process improvements

About You:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in an endtoend payroll role
• Sound knowledge of HR, Payroll practices, procedures, and legislation
• An ability to coordinate multiple tasks within set time frames
• High attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills and an ability to develop key working relationships
• Excellent customer service focus
• The ability to work autonomously
• Multistate payroll experience will be highly regarded
• Medium to advanced level Excel skills.
