You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:

  • Experience training customers on complex products and working in operating theatres.
  • Previous experience with the installation and servicing of complex capital equipment.
  • Previous experience with spine, neurosurgery or imaging.
  • Experience in high end capital Medical Technology such as surgical cranial/spine
  • Excellent communications skills, developing strong relationships and quickly becoming a trusted advisor to customers.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Provide site and clinical support for procedures and when required, train hospital staff to run cases independently.
  • Closely liaise with the Divisional manager, BDMs and other clinical heads on a daily basis in terms of coordinating case coverage and workload for the benefit of our all account and customers
  • Conduct regular hospital inservices and training to Operating Room staff, hospital technicians, Central Sterilisation Department Personnel, ICU and radiology in the metropolitan and country regions.
  • Maintain and monitor monthly inservice records on your accounts to ensure records are current.
  • Maintain Customer Account profiles within the LifeHealthcare CRM database to ensure customer details and call activities are current.

And to be successful we think you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, nursing, biomedical engineering or similar preferred
  • Preferably 3year experience in medical devices (Capital or spine preferred) and ideally
  • Direct experience working in an Operating Room environment, in either a sales or clinical capacity
  • Resilient and versatile, you can work autonomously or in a team, and are passionate about providing first class customer service.
  • Must have a Driver's License
