Join our innovative HR Technology team as we continue our journey to build new services in a cloud-first eco-system, to transform the way we deliver world class employee experiences across Macquarie.


As a Transformation Technology Director, you will lead a critical transformational program that will build a new HR platform from the ground up.

This includes using the latest cloud technologies to build a new microservice ecosystem and data integration pattern to deliver a secure, digital experience for our internal customers.


You will be joining an in-flight program with the opportunity to expand your scope to include other transformational programs across the HR Technology Portfolio.

Day to day, you will manage the end-to-end technology delivery of the transformation program working with several agile delivery squads and ensuring all stakeholders are delivering in a collaborative manner.

You will have a pragmatic approach to managing change, and produce high quality project artefacts and reporting, manage risks and issues, produce and track budgets.


You will ideally bring the following:

  • 10+ years' experience in Project Management, leading complex technical and multi-stream programs
- experience managing distributed global teams, including vendor resources
- a proven track record of successfully delivering agile technology transformation programs
- a strong technical background in IT delivering cloud hosted software solutions - experience in Human Resources related projects is desirable
- experience managing dependencies on other related change programs and ensure the timely identification and triage of technical issues and risks
- excellent communication skills, proven negotiation and influencing skills and stakeholder management - with an ability to work with multiple stakeholders at different levels across a global organisation


You'll need to be able to co-ordinate multiple priorities, establish governance practices within the technology delivery streams, be curious and intuitive in your problem solving, as well as continually drive improvement.

As this is a global business, you must have the ability to work flexibly with your global project team.
