Description:

Purpose

The Mentor is focused on providing ongoing support to customers to ensure that sustainable employment and outcomes are realised.

Mentors are responsible for shaping future customers within the program and developing appropriate plans preparing them for employment.

A solid understanding of people-centred case management principles, including barrier management, is core to continued success, as well as a detailed understanding of what Job Ready looks like for customers.

The Mentor will facilitate guided discussions with small groups in an informal classroom environment.

They will create future employment opportunities for customers by identifying areas for development, upskilling, training, and wellbeing, in addition to assessing mental health support program suitability and referring customers to community-based support networks, as needed.

Qualifications:

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience within a people-based case management, coaching, mentoring, rehabilitation, or similar industry (highly desirable)

Other Requirements

Current and valid Australian Class C Motor Vehicle Licence
