The Role
The role requires a background in supply chain process with good communication, stocktaking and interpersonal skills. You will have experience in policy interpretation and implementation of policy in a Supply Chain regime.

You will require skills in influencing people with an ability to influence outside your own area of control, through building and maintaining business relationships.

Knowledge of the current Military Integrated Logistic Information System (MILIS), Excel and Outlook is desirable, but the ability to provide training to the successful applicant is possible where required.

As the position supports numerous sites across Defence regions, the successful applicant may be required to undertake both intra and interstate travel in the delivery of Quality Auditing against Supply Chain process.

As such, they must be willing to drive, travel, or fly to assist in the delivery of Defence's Compliance and Assurance program.

About our Team

The Logistics Assurance Branch Tier 3 Compliance and Assurance Team is a geographically dispersed team working across the key supported elements of the Joint Capability Group with our main focus on Joint Logistics Command business units.

We have primary and secondary roles which see the team involved in the planning, coordination, communication, delivery and execution of Defence's key Assurance Activities.

The LAB Tier 3 team is a dynamic logistics auditing resource within the JCG/JLC with a focus on advice and assist through audit reporting.

Our Ideal Candidate You will have extensive and relevant experience in LogisticsLead Audit with a sound understanding of supply chain management systems.

You will have strong leadership, administrative, and organisational skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple teams.

You will be able to operate in a dynamic environment where multiple activities occur simultaneously meeting very tight deadlines.

Currency and knowledge of existing logistics information systems would be advantageous, but not essential; however, the ability to obtain qualification is.
