St John XXIII Catholic College is a member of the Catholic School Parramatta Diocese (CSPD), a network of 83 schools dedicated to addressing the evolving needs of students in today's fast-paced world. We are continuously searching for exceptional individuals to help us fulfill our strategic objective of nurturing the next generation through high-quality Catholic education and enhancing the professional growth of our staff.

We are on the lookout for a Secondary TAS / STEM teacher to become a part of our dynamic school community on a permanent full-time basis.

To become a part of our lively school community, you should:

  • Have up-to-date and authoritative professional knowledge of teaching TAS / STEM and the factors influencing learning and development
  • Create and sustain a secure, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Utilize student assessment data effectively to identify learning obstacles and encourage students to enhance their performance
  • Engage with the school community in various capacities to enhance the learning experience for students
  • Show enthusiasm for transformative education in a faith-based setting
  • Possess solid communication, administrative, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in supporting students with diverse learning needs may be beneficial

Qualifications and certifications required:

  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance
  • Eligibility as per NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) guidelines
  • Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% completion)
  • Statements of Service
