Established in 1967, our client's establishment is an iconic local watering hole among the residents of Nelligen, located just 15 minutes from Batemans Bay on the picturesque Clyde River.

With recent changes in ownership, our client is planning to give the hotel a spruce-up while preserving its heritage charm.

We're on the lookout for epic talent (that's you) to help maintain our client's strong foundations.

As a bar staff member, you'll join a collective and eclectic mishmash of hospitality professionals who can buckle down when needed but always find time for laughter and fun.

We're searching for an experienced and competent hospitality professional to join our client's family-owned and operated business. The successful applicant will have a passion for customer service and building relationships while taking pride in their work.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • manage and supervise bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- provide exceptional customer service by interacting with patrons, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests.
- train, mentor, and motivate bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders for supplies as needed.
- implement and maintain quality control standards for beverages, ensuring consistency and high standards of preparation and presentation.
- develop and execute promotional activities to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and clean working environment for staff and customers.
- collaborate with other departments, such as kitchen staff and management, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.
- stay up to date with industry trends and developments, suggesting innovative ideas to enhance the venue's offerings and overall experience.
