About the Role


As the Property Services Manager, you will lead a small team and work on a diverse range of property-related matters, providing solutions-focussed advice, support and direction across the business.


Other responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing the Property Services business plan, including necessary frameworks and tools
  • Providing strategic, high quality and solutions focussed property and commercial advice and support on all relevant property matters
  • Generating viable options, recommendations and alternatives for the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team based on available information
  • Providing functional support and oversight to Major Project specific property resources
  • Leading, coaching and developing members of the team by setting clear expectations, communicating regularly and monitoring performance
  • Working with the Sunwater business to ensure Sunwater's property portfolio achieves the required state and federal environmental sustainability objectives for management and reporting
  • Assisting with the formulation and implementation of strategies for longterm management and rationalisation of nonoperational land
  • Carrying out other duties as required by the General Counsel

You will bring


To be considered for this role, you will have experience in a commercial or utility infrastructure property environment as well as relevant tertiary qualifications in a legal or property-related field.


In addition, you will have:

  • Experience in showing and providing leadership, strategic direction, insight and innovation to Executive and Senior Leadership teams
  • Ability to lead a team, maintaining high standards of performance and accountability
  • Experience working with legal documents relating to property transactions
  • Ability to prepare, utilise and interpret a variety of legal documents relating to property transactions
  • Experience of property management for a largescale diversified property portfolio in a utility infrastructure environment
  • Ability to negotiate complex property management and land tenure issues
  • High level planning and project management skills and proven ability in the use of project management databases or systems and property information management systems
  • Ability to provide highlevel strategic insight coupled with a strong execution orientation and ability to deliver results
