As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the tax compliance and reporting requirements for the firm. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and excellent attention to detail.

What do you do:

  • Assist with a range of indirect taxes, including payroll tax, GST, and FBT.
  • Review the operating P&L, balance sheet, and supporting reconciliations.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reporting processes, ensuring compliance for annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards for the corporate entities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and teams to assist in organisational and operational improvements.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
  • Handle BAS/FBT reporting.
  • Provide Executives with management reporting (e.g., payroll, cash flow, costing) insights, analysis, and advice.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA or CA certification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting
  • Strong understanding of tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
