We are seeking an
Employment Placement Consultant to join our
Metro Sydney, Parramatta, Macquarie Park, Wollongong or Central Coast/Newcastle team You will have the drive to succeed in your career whilst helping people obtain new employment In return we offer

Day to day in the role you will:

  • Use your recruitment and career development skills to support people with injuries return to work;
  • Build relationships with employers and organisations to generate suitable vacancies for our clients;
  • Engage in the local community to identify employment opportunities;
  • Market subsidised programs to incentivise employers to consider our clients for employment;
  • Meet face to face with clients to build their confidence and independence in job seeking skills;
  • Liaise with and influence hiring managers on behalf of your clients;
  • Assist clients with addressing key selection criteria;
  • Prepare clients for interviews;
  • Work within a multi disciplinary team to help our clients find gainful and durable employment.

About you:

  • Have at least 12 months experience supporting disadvantaged job seekers with new employment;
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check;
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
  • Honesty, integrity, team attitude & positive approach;
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement;
  • Excellent written & spoken English language skills (professional fluency);
  • Experience working in Disability Employment Services would be desirable;
  • A professional network within your local area would be highly regarded;
  • Unrestricted drivers licence (own vehicle required).
