DESCRIPTION

AWS is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Security Systems Project Manager to join the team. You would be involved in the design, installation, and integration of security systems such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

You will play a crucial role in reviewing standards, staying updated on new technology, and enhancing the physical security of AWS data centers. Collaborating with various teams and customers, you will ensure that business requirements are integrated into security system designs. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the deployment of security packages and ensuring compliance with standards during project phases.

The ideal candidate should have a diverse skill set, from research to design, construction oversight, and maintenance. Being innovative, organized, and able to deliver within budget and timelines are essential.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Manage installation of physical security system hardware
  • Design security systems for projects
  • Prepare security design standards and technical documents
  • Project management of security installations
  • Subject Matter Expert for system testing and acceptance
  • Prepare project close-out documentation
  • Report on vendor performance metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of project management experience
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- Experience in process improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in end-to-end delivery and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in driving process improvements
- Strong project management skills
