The Role

This is a full-time ongoing position with an opportunity for an immediate start and will be based across our Keilor East campus and Keilor Park sports ground.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4pm, with one RDO per month. Some additional weekend and out-of-hours work will be required to meet the needs of the School. You will work collaboratively with the facilities team as well as independently and report directly to the Facilities Manager.

Requirements:

• Appropriate qualifications in turf management
• Experience operating and maintaining turf maintenance equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Good organisational and timemanagement skills
• Physical ability to perform manual labour and operate equipment
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• An understanding of and commitment to the safe storage and handling of chemicals, including pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and fertilizers
• A valid Working With Children Check (employee) and current satisfactory criminal record check
• A medium rigid heavy vehicle licence or a willingness to obtain it would be an advantage but not required
