ABOUT THE ROLE


Our centralised Distribution Centre located in Truganina Victoria services our Australian store network of 900 sites as well as highly successful online business.

We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated person to join our successful team as a
DC Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a small warehouse department and assist the team in the daytoday activities as required
  • Ensure daily operation targets are met
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure coordination of warehouse activities
  • Maintaining control registers including inventory control and being responsible for the preparation and reconciliation of regular reports or stock movement, dispatches etc.
  • Maintain close communication with all team members to ensure opportunities, successes and roadblocks are well known and proactively managed
  • Liaising with management, suppliers and customers with respect to stores operations
  • Always demonstrate and uphold exceptional safety standards in accordance with health and safety requirements
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with personnel from all departments
  • Maintain and support the implementation of quality control techniques and procedures
  • Supervise and provide direction and guidance to employees
  • Assist in the provision of onthejob training and induction

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Previous experience in a similar distribution role
  • Ability to work across all areas of the DC
  • High level of organizational and time management skills including attention to detail
  • A handson approach and strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and be prepared to rotate through all departments
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced and high pressured environment
