Here's what you will be responsible for: Identify buying trends and new customers.
It may include adapting product range to suit changing environment.

Lead the development and implementation of the category plan, and provide mitigation strategies as required to continually grow sales and profitability.

Undertake product reviews to target high margin products.
Develop and provide accurate and timely sales forecasts.
Analyse long term volume requirements and support the supply strategy development.
Lead the research of new product lines or product line extensions aimed at growing revenue.
In conjunction with the PFA Marketing Team, develop and implement customer marketing plans.
Build and promote high-engaging customer relationships.
It may include developing and implementing specific customer management plans. Develop effective relationships with internal growers and strategically aligned grower network.
This includes providing accurate communication on supply volumes, quality, and pricing of products. Must be adept on retail price point and maximise final sale price to obtain best NGP.
Be an effective leader to and aim at developing a high-performing category team. Manage and monitor the category budget and related expenses in accordance with PFA policy and requirements.
Take charge of timely communication to all team members and stake holders on issues related to sales and customers.

What you will need for this role Graduate of Business Management (Sales) or Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Agriculture or a related area.

At least 5-7 years in the fresh produce or horticulture industry in a sales, account management or supply role.
Experience in leading and developing a team.
Highly developed influence, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate across different divisions of the business and develop effective working relationships to deliver optimal result.
Demonstrated problem solving skills in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment.
Ability to develop professional and harmonious working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Sound knowledge and application of sales and marketing principles.
Proficient in delivering presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Ability to comply with applicable ethical practice requirements and company policy
