The Applications Specialist is responsible for coordinating and undertaking the administration, delivery and maintenance of applications. The role works collaboratively with internal and external users and stakeholders to ensure that applications meet business needs.

Key components of the role:


• Coordinate the implementation, delivery and review of applications which includes the History Trust's suite of websites and third-party systems.

• Work with service providers and users to implement applications that meet business needs.

• Devise procedures to ensure the reliability, integrity and confidentiality of data.

• Develop and implement training programs to educate users on how to use applications and maintain data accuracy.

• Ensure appropriate security controls are in place for the protection of applications and data.

About you:

You have a keen interest in an IT environment and are a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and innovate.

Special Conditions:

Some out of hours work may be required. Occasional weekend work may be required. Engagement in this role is subject to a satisfactory Department of Human Services Working with Children Check. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required and a current driver's licence is desirable.

Qualifications:

Essential: Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Information and Communications Technology or equivalent experience.
Desirable: Business Analysis/Data Analysis qualifications.
