Busy Bees at Coorparoo is a fun and vibrant 113-place is located in the heart of Coorparoo on the corner of Harries Road above the Woolworths Shopping Complex, the Service was developed to ensure that children are being provided with exciting opportunities and challenges for them to play and grow in an innovative and stimulating environment where their individuality can be nurtured by dedicated Educators.

Our service is looking for multiple Casual Educators who are passionate about the Early Childhood Industry.

Essential Qualifications- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.- First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.


Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
  • Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  • Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
  • Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.
  • Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.
  • Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.
  • Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant or similar.
