About the opportunity


The Handover Supervisor works closely with the ACT Construction team, reports to the Service & Warrant Manager and is part of the NSW/ACT Service and Warranty team.

The key focus of this role is to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the Practical Completion Process, Defect Liability Period through to the end of the Warranty Period.


More specifically, you will:

  • Conduct 90day defect inspection
  • Repairing defects within warranty such as paint, plaster, silicon sealing, etc
  • Ensuring that all general maintenance as per the defect list is completed to the highest quality
  • Scheduling trades and contractors as required
  • Preparing handover inspection reports and associated documentation in accordance with company policy
  • Maintenance of MJH display homes
  • Managing complaints and ensuring building compliance is achieved
  • Ensuring compliance with WH&S policies and processes
  • Rotational emergency line oncall duty

About you


You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia's number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values.


In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • A trade background preferably Carpentry, Certificate IV in Building Management or similar experience
  • Sound knowledge of Construction and the building process within the residential housing industry
  • Good computer and MS Office skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Outstanding, organisational, and planning abilities with the ability to work under pressure
  • Exceptional attention to detail
You will hold a current-driver's license.
