Position description:

We are seeking enthusiastic Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team.

You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Collecting blood and nonblood samples from patients including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
  • Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled
  • Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
  • Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory


We offer a comprehensive training program suitable for medical/health science students wishing to gain valuable experience in a clinical environment whilst studying.

You will learn high quality patient care and valuable clinical skills in a fast paced, flexible working environment.

  • Is open to working part time hours on a scheduled roster Monday to Sunday between 7am to 7pm.
  • Is passionate about healthcare and committed to providing excellent care and service to patients and doctors
  • A hardworking, motivated individual with a strong work ethic
  • Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level attention to detail and record keeping skills.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • 3 doses of COVID19 Vaccination and commitment to annual influenza vaccination.
A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.
