Hair and Makeup Artist

We are looking for an enthusiastic Hair & Makeup artist to join our photography studio.

Formerly known as 'Studio Glamour', our business has continued to flourish over the last 10 years.
In 2020 we opened the doors to our brand-new studio.

This space gives us the ability to provide a large variety of photographic services. This includes boudoir and portrait photography, candid family sessions, corporate headshots, fashion portraiture, personal branding, product, and car photography.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Working from our studio, you will be part of an energetic and positive team and work environment. You must be available to work evening shifts (Thur-Sat).

On top of your hair & makeup duties, you will also assist our Bookings Managers with booking and consultation calls with future clients.

ABOUT YOU:

You are a motivated person with a bubbly, vibrant personality who is confident working to strict time frames. You have experience in both makeup and hair styling.
You love following the latest beauty trends and highlighting people's best assets.

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Outfit styling, choosing items that best suit different body types.
• Executing excellent makeup skills and possessing the ability to create a variety of looks.
• Hair styling (straightening, curls, etc).
• Maintaining a high level of hygiene.
• Managing makeup stock.
• Assisting with administration and phone bookings.

YOUR SKILLS:

• Proficient in hair styling and makeup for different face shapes and ages.
• Natural ability to emotionally connect with all types of people.
• Genuine desire to make clients feel amazing and worthy.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and communication skills.
• Assisting clients with creative ideas and concepts for their photoshoot.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation.
