JOB DESCRIPTION
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Major Maintenance Planner to join one of our key clients, at the Ampol Refinery.
For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at Lytton, and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.
As a Major Maintenance Planner, you will support the Programs & Major Maintenance Lead Planner with the ongoing development and implementation of various planning and quality processes, whilst assuming responsibility for scoping, estimating, planning & scheduling all mechanical work in Major & Programs Maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Review CMMS daily for approved notifications, creating work orders,Conduct site inspections to provide a detailed scope of work,Populate the work order & workpack with the tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, PMRs and other services required to execute the work,Maintain integrity of the CMMS,Reserve all stock materials, identify part numbers and all information required for the purchase of non-stock items,Maintain overview of the user status constraints.
Forward log management, Loss of containment compliance,Apply technical aptitude to resolve backlog prioritisation. Liaising with coordinator's & technical departments to determine the optimum methodology & time to execute work,Liaise with Area Planners, identifying SIMOPS opportunities during the development of the Turnaround, 90 Day, 28 Day, Maintenance & Alliance weekly schedule,Attend & proactively participate in the Weekly Planning & Scheduling meetings,Take feedback on the work at the completion of the job and continually improve information for future work - Create job specific tasklists, update critical BOM's,Participate in the development & control of the R&M Area Budgets ,Demonstrate a pro-active role in identifying safety improvements,Provide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices,Actively pursue personal development utilising the My Success Plan process
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree or diploma in Engineering or Mechanical trade qualification,SAP CMMS knowledge and demonstrated experience is essential,Primavera (P6) experience is highly desirable,Demonstrated experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace,Highly effective verbal and written communication skills,Highly skilled in MS Suite Skills - Word, Excel,Actively commits to being a OH&S Leader,Work behaviours enhance the Company's reputation,Demonstrates discipline expertise, integrity and the ability to influence and challenge others to behave in ways consistent with the interest of the organisation.
