The Job
The Store Manager contributes to the culture of real, classic care by leading a Store based team to deliver genuine connections with our customers, with a little touch of magic, to ensure they're a brand that is recognised for and aligned to our unique moments that are important, in line with the brand belief:

  • Provide leadership and inspiration with effective coaching and feedback

  • Owner of health and safety in the store
  • Understand and demonstrate awareness of the Store Budgets, Sales & Basket Size and key Category Performance while ensuring this is filtered down to store Team Members
  • Drive individual and store team performance to Achieve all budgeted Performance metrics as detailed in the Financial Year Performance plan each year
  • Ensure an understanding of how to positively influence margin through demonstrations of targeted merchandise mix executions and regime selling
  • Take ownership of developing the store Team Members confidence and capability
  • Ensure recruitment & rostering standards are met in line with expectations and discussions with your Retail Business Leader and People Engagement team
  • Individual Development and Performance cycle
  • Inventory Integrity management
  • Brand Compliance and Consistency

About You

  • 2+ years' experience in a retail management (pharmacy/beauty/big box/large format managers are highly desirable)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and motivate your team
  • A commitment to working with Enthusiasm and a Positive Outlook
  • Being capable of working both Individually and in a Team environment
  • Really demonstrates an understanding and desire to continuously improve
  • Can be confident and comfortable to engage with a broad range of
  • Customers with empathy
  • Interprets instructions for action and is confident to seek further understanding if needed
  • Demonstrating the ability to prioritise tasks and work to timeframes
  • Capable of being active, with time on your feet, moderate lifting and reaching all required at times in the role
  • Is able to be adaptable and work within an environment of change
  • Has the availability to work Flexible hours across the stores trading hours
