An exciting opportunity exists for a
Head of Clinical to join HomeMade's leadership team. This role is central to the delivery of safe, high-quality outcomes to their customers and the achievement of key strategic and operational objectives.
This is a critical role where you will
balance strategy with operational excellence. Your organisational, communication, strategic thinking and clinical leadership skills are second to none, and you enjoy developing solutions that balance innovation, care and compliance Your clinical expertise and insights will directly lead to outstanding safeguards and outcomes for their customers.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for
leading their Clinical team within the Quality & Safeguards department to develop a strong clinical culture across the business.
People & leadership
- Lead a team of Clinical Partners, responsible and accountable for the leadership of the team, as well as the team's vision, strategy, and delivery of work
- Attract, develop, and retain top clinical talent, setting clear goals and driving performance to key results
- Supervise, coach and mentor Clinical Partners to ensure a highperforming team environment that works to their full potential in a complex mobile/remote workforce environment
- Deliver a high standard of employee experience through a leadership approach that promotes the inclusive culture, vision and values of HomeMade.
Clinical governance
- Lead the development of the clinical governance framework and practices
- Work with the leadership team to create clinical pathways and escalations processes to ensure there are effective safeguards for our customers
- Provide oversight on quality indicators and actively manage business and customer risks.
- Ensure the effective management and implementation of compliancerelated activities to ensure ongoing compliance and accreditation
- Develop strategies to respond to changing regulatory requirements
Business
- Collaborate with the management team in the development of performance goals and longterm operational plans
- Work with the Head of Customer Experience and leadership team, to build capacity in our team to understand the clinical needs of customers and develop resources and services that support those needs
Skills and experience;
Key to the success in this role is the demonstrated ability in the below skills and experience;
- Must be a qualified clinician in Allied Health, Nursing, Social Science, or other related fields.
- 10+ years operational management/leadership experience
- Ideally demonstrated expertise in Home or Community Services setting
- Understanding of clinical support and exposure to case management in Aged care or Disability
- Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success.
