About our client...This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate/Special Counsel with 5-7 years + experience post admission to join our our well established Commercial and Corporate team.
As member of of an established Commercial and Corporate team you will have experience with corporate restructures, large operational business and share sale agreements, complex vendor and purchaser due diligence requirements, complex shareholder and unitholder agreements, the PPSR regime, 'whitewash' arrangements, employee share plans and drafting and negotiating general commercial agreements.
Some of your responsibilities may also include:consumer/ trade practices; financing and security documents; corporations Law including capital raising and capital reductions and share buybacks;
working alongside Principals, Special Counsel and broader team including mentoring those less experienced around you;
fostering strong client relationships & growing the practice further through networking and marketing initiatives.
About you...
Our client is seeking an experienced & passionate Commercial Lawyer at Senior Associate/Special Counsel level with the following attributes:
Circa 5-7+ years post admission Commercial law experience;
Comprehensive knowledge of the Corporations Act and the ACL;
A self-starter with a friendly, pro-active team approach;
Excellent communication skills and a strong client service focus;
The ability to multi-task and prioritise to manage competing priorities & timelines;
Able & willing to share your expertise/mentor less experienced colleagues
A keen sense of commerciality.
