The company
Our client has been operating for over 50 years and develops, large residential & commercial mix use projects.


Our client has a solid Tier 1 and Top Tier 2 management team and there is lots of opportunity for growth over the coming years as they are commencing several major projects.


The opportunity
***Based in Sydney and reporting to the GM, our client is seeking an experienced HSE Manager with a strong commitment to ensuring they provide a safe and healthy workplace across all current and future projects.

What the roles includes

  • Ensure the projects maintain strong risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline related to safety.
  • Develop and administer education and compliance programs for employees, clients, contractors, and visitors.
  • Guide and support the Project Leadership Teams to develop and implement a safety culture that aligns with the company values, including adequate development and training in safety critical roles.
  • Maintain comprehensive safety records, manage statutory reporting requirements, and monitor safety performance progress.
  • Investigate all causes of events on site and recommend actions to prevent future occurrences.

To be successful in this type of role

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in WSHQE
  • First Aid & CPR training Certificate
  • Must have 5+ years' experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Head Contractors
  • Management experience is essential.
  • Must be an excellent communicator and able to build rapport with all key stakeholders.
  • Be able to carry out meetings and presentations with both your team and the client.
  • Excellent administration and computer systems
  • Demonstrate a real passion for safety.
