Please note an ongoing teaching appointment is attached to the position.
As the Deputy Principal Faith and Mission, you will be responsible for leading the faith development and mission of the College.
You will provide broad opportunities for religious instruction and faith formation of students and staff through active engagement with curriculum, service, liturgy, prayer and reflection.
You will have a passion for the development of the 'whole student' and you will have the ability to inspire and energise people around you and positively impact the culture of the teams that you lead.
About You
To be successful you will be a dynamic and contemporary teacher, with established credibility in Religious Education.
You will be an active member of the Catholic Church with a strong commitment to promoting the teachings of the Church.
You will be a highly effective leader who can provide faith and educational leadership which draws on leading research, theory and practice.
You will also possess exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and interact effectively with all members of the College community.

About Penola Catholic College
Penola Catholic College is a co-educational college for students from years 7-12 with two campuses in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
College campuses are situated in Glenroy, which caters for years 7 and 8, and the senior campus in Broadmeadows that features years 9 to 12 and a total college enrolment of approximately 1,500 students.
