What does the job look like?

The role of the Test Analyst is for the actioning of systems testing in line with the agreed Linfox testing framework and methodology. This includes IT projects and BAU activities, CRs, defect fixes, upgrades, and new releases. This includes ensuring the use of agreed testing tools (both manual and automated), the centralising of test artefacts and adherence to the Linfox testing governance framework across all development teams and their processes.

The framework within which the Test Analyst works encompasses the full completion all testing phases and cycles ensuring coverage and traceability of all project requirements and thorough defect identification and tracking. The Test Analyst will be required to manage their work schedules against multiple work streams.

Key areas:

• Adherence to the standards managed and maintained by Linfox QA and Testing Services
• Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting as required by Testing Services and/or individual Projects and Product Owners
• Development of test plans, summary reports and reporting for individual projects, maintenance, defect/incident remediation, upgrades, patching, CRs and minor works as assigned
• Manage project based or customer-requested non-functional testing in line with documented project requirements
• Assist with estimates for testing expenditure in line with operations and project budgets, including testing software, contractors, and incidentals. These will be validated by Linfox QA & Testing Services

Are you the one?

We are seeking an enthusiastic specialist who enjoys problem solving, investigating and has a good eye for detail. You can demonstrate:

• Tertiary bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or Science related subjects
• Experience across development and maintenance of test plans, disciplines, and toolsets within medium to large projects.
• Preferred experience using HPALM and Zephyr tools and Test Automation
• Experience in the setup and use of testing tools for both manual and automated testing
• Experience with test data analysis and development
• Planning and execution of System Testing/Integration testing
• Proven understanding of the V- Model, SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Desirable: Working knowledge of Transport Logistics industry
