Primary Teacher - Full-time, temporary

St Anthony's School, Wanneroo, is a co-educational double stream Catholic school that caters for over 430 students and their families from 3 Year old Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a community that strives to develop and encourage the Christian values modelled by Jesus and where growth of the whole person is enhanced through our educational program.

This is a temporary full-time position commencing 15 July 2024 and concluding 20 September 2024.

Selection Criteria

We are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic teacher for Term 3 who has the necessary knowledge, skills, ability and professional capacity to:

• Promote the Catholic faith, education and ethos of the school including the school's PADUA Values and St Anthony's Way;

• Work professionally, cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a cohesive and dedicated team of educators;

• Have a sound knowledge of the SCSA WA curriculum and practice effective strategies to engage, motivate and facilitate student learning;

• Have the ability to incorporate contemporary approaches to learning and teaching, including the use data to inform practice in order to raise student levels of achievement;

• Have excellent ICT skills and the ability to integrate technology effectively into classroom learning and teaching programs; and

• Be committed to the ongoing development of self through participation in Professional Learning Communities and professional development.

Qualifications Required

• A recognised four year tertiary teaching qualification.

• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or working towards would be an advantage.
