We are looking for an experienced Transport Technical Officer to join our Assets, Engineering, and Design team. In this role, you will focus on overseeing council infrastructure with a key focus on transportation projects and approvals. Your duties will include offering vital information, guidance, and support to the Transport Engineer and other engineering colleagues, directly contributing to our goals.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven knowledge of, and ability to, interpret and apply relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines.
  • A demonstrated ability to interpret technical data and develop cost-effective and efficient design solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills and the capacity to propose practical and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently on specific projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with individuals at all levels and influence as needed.

Required qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or 3+ years of related experience.
  • Class C driver's license.

Hours: Full-Time, 75 hours fortnight.

Salary: $74,397.57 to $83,732.21 plus superannuation.
