The Opportunity:

Our Property and Buildings specialist division is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our busy Condition Assessment team.

The Technical Coordinator role will be responsible for the coordination of our Building surveyors and Inspectors for site visits as well as the booking and coordination of reports for clients.

This is a highly visible role that requires a high sense of organisation, communication, and attention to detail.

The group is made up of three divisions - Civil & Structures, Specialist Disciplines and Building Services.

What you'll do:

  • Rostering of Inspectors for site inspections.
  • Assist in the preparation of clear reports using a development Application.
  • Daily liaison with clients, residents, and stakeholders.
  • Assist with Coordination of the delivery of reports.
  • Ensure adequate resources are available for inspections and report production.
  • Organise team meetings.
  • Assisting the project manager with weekly progress and other reporting
  • Maintain information systems and inventories for the management of projects.
  • Liaise with other sections of the consultancy business to gather information and ideas that may enhance the services provided to clients
  • Assist with the preparation of clear reports
  • Completing all works in accordance with the company manuals and systems and quality assurance procedures

About you:

  • Excellent phone manner and experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with spreadsheet and/or database systems
  • Report production
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office software
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in collaboration within a closeknit team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • An ability to cope with urgency, pressure of work and the assignment of work priorities and able to prioritise work efficiently
  • Be prepared to take on an acceptance of the need to assist with a wide range of tasks and activities to ensure the achievement of project and submission deadlines.
  • Have an interest in areas of engineering
