Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and practices.
  • Mentor and support educators in delivering highquality educational experiences.
  • Ensure the curriculum is developmentally appropriate, culturally relevant, and inclusive.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes a growth mindset.
  • Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's learning and development.
  • Collaborate with families to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the program.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of early childhood education trends and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including the National Quality Framework (NQF).
  • Assist in the professional development of staff through training and workshops.
  • Create and maintain an engaging, safe, and stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum).
  • Actively studying towards an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Demonstrated experience in early childhood education settings.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Passionate about fostering a growth mindset in young children.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Job Types:

Pay:
$ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
