The Role

Enterprise Cloud Platform Architects are essential in building the business management function for Cloud. They serve as a link between portfolio management, product management, and technical delivery functions, typically overseeing high-level technical planning for the overall Cloud platform.

Our architects not only deliver work but also guide customers in developing their internal capability by establishing strong relationships at the executive level. They excel in leading senior technical stakeholders to design and deliver innovative, high-value Cloud-based solutions, shaping client Cloud transformation strategies, roadmaps, and business cases, and assisting clients in scaling Cloud adoption. You will be part of a welcoming team of Cloud leaders at DigiRen, renowned for their expertise.

Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Cloud Architect at DigiRen, you will:

  • Lead technically within the customer's Cloud business management function
  • Develop a roadmap of platform features and functions based on consumer needs, governance requirements, and other demand signals
  • Take ownership of key high-level Cloud platform architecture assets
  • Clearly define 'done' for customer platform engineering teams
  • Assist customers in defining, building, and managing their internal Cloud architecture capabilities
  • Hold a 'Professional' level architecture certification with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or the ability to acquire one within 90 days
  • Possess over 10 years of experience as a technical specialist in customer-facing roles
  • Have at least 2 years in a senior hyperscale architect role at an Australian enterprise or service provider
  • Demonstrate experience in a senior architect role involving a significant production enterprise application build or migration utilizing hyperscale services
  • Show ownership in creating platform-level hyperscale architecture constructs, such as network or security architectures, for an Australian enterprise
  • Hold a current NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance
