About Us

Welcome to our caring community, where we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of life for our residents through compassionate and individualized care. We operate two unique facilities designed to meet a range of needs and preferences: Albury Yalleroo and Delalcourth.

This is a larger facility with 112 beds, currently undergoing an exciting redevelopment. Our aging-in-place philosophy means that residents can continue to live in familiar surroundings even as their care needs change. The facility includes a secured dementia wing and a specialized memory ward, offering support for residents with memory impairments and ensuring their safety and comfort. This family-oriented approach helps manage the complexities of aging with dignity and respect.

About the Role

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others? Join our team, where you will provide resident/client-centred and individualised care to those accessing our services. Utilise your genuine passion for caring to lead and influence your team, making a positive difference in the quality of life of our residents. You will work alongside like-minded individuals in our passionate, caring, and committed team.

Duties

  • Lead a care team to deliver the highest quality, person-first/individualised care to our residents.
  • Prepare high-quality care plans and assessments.
  • Maintain quality care documentation.
  • Ensure safe medication administration, best practice wound care, and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.
  • Support the Clinical leadership team with the management and completion of care assessments to ensure appropriate funding for the care we deliver.
  • Actively engage in handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines.

Skills and Experience

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse – Essential.
  • Ideally 2 – 3 years' experience working within the aged care sector.
  • The ability to work as part of a cohesive team and delegate effectively where appropriate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.

Important Requirements

  • As part of the NDIS scheme, employees working within a NDIS facility, in a risk assessed role, must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement.
