This exciting new facility will be the platform for the future development of a fully integrated recycling facility, producing a range of high quality, sustainable products.
Your New Opportunity:
Reporting to the GM - Operations, this is a newly created leadership role for an experienced and driven
Operations Manager to effectively and proactively operate and lead our new site in
Brooklyn, Victoria.
You will play a pivotal role in leading and driving all aspects of our ResourceCo operations, across our Crushing, Soils and Energy Pillars, whilst building and driving capability to achieve a highly efficient and successful multifaceted operation.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring a safe, efficient, and cost-effective daily operation of the Brooklyn site to meet performance targets and statutory requirements.
- Lead from the front in a handson manner through site presence and positive engagement with all employees.
- Developing a high performing operations team with flexibility to move staff across site operations when needed.
- Leading a continuous improvement and operational excellence focused achieving best practice in the areas of safety, environment, reliability and product quality.
- HSEQ compliance; working in conjunction with HSEQ Manager to drive and deliver an excellent safety culture.
- Quality compliance: implementing and maintaining quality management processes ensuring all procedures produce consistent products within controlled and customer specification.
- Proactively collaborate with Sales and Customer service to deliver excellent customer service; and
- Implementing and driving ResourceCo Values (Sustainable, Committed, Creative and Agile) into daytoday practice.
About you:
We are searching for a highly experienced and talented person, with strong senior management experience and commercial acumen within the Building Materials, Construction, Waste, Quarrying, Manufacturing or operational/resources environs.
This exciting and newly created opportunity will require a highly energetic, self-starting and people focussed individual who is able to proactively think on their feet with a passion for delivering opportunities and successful people and business outcomes.
