About the position

  • The Executive are seeking the services of a Room Attendant / Relief Housekeeping Supervisor to join their housekeeping team on a permanent FULL TIME basis. This position will require the successful applicant to not only perform housekeeping shifts, but also step up to a supervisory position every second weekend and for annual leave coverage. Shifts run from 8am 3pm, across 7 days including weekends and public holidays. Availability during the busy summer school holiday period is essential.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Supervising onshift staff when working in the Relief Housekeeping Supervisor position
  • Cleaning of rooms as per daily scheduling
  • Stocking of room attendant trolleys
  • Maintain chemical containers
  • Ensure cleanliness of storerooms and stock control
  • Making beds to meet required standard
  • Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and outside doorways
  • Cleaning of bathrooms and amenities
  • Dusting and cleaning of furniture, mirrors and glass areas
  • Disposal of waste
This position will require a current drivers license and reliable transport.

About you


You have minimum 3 years' experience within a housekeeping position, as well as demonstrated skills in managing and supervising staff.

You are a team player with excellent communication skills. You will have a strong work ethic and be reliable.
