Your Role as a Civil Supervisor

We are seeking a Civil Supervisor to collaborate closely with our Construction and Site Managers. Your core responsibilities will revolve around overseeing the seamless execution and delivery of civil site works, managing onsite personnel, and liaising with various stakeholders. As a skilled communicator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the alignment of project deliverables while providing strong leadership to site teams through guidance and support.

Initially stationed at our Williamsdale BESS project, you will be at the heart of a 250MW/500MWh battery energy storage system situated south of Canberra.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor site teams towards achieving quality outcomes
  • Manage onsite sub-contractors effectively through tendering and engagement processes
  • Oversee planning, resourcing, and monitoring of civil works to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completions
  • Implement robust processes and risk management strategies for smooth project operations
  • Handle civil works budgets, including generating monthly reports

Your Profile

For success in this role, you should ideally have:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Civil Construction (mandatory), with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering viewed favorably
  • Exceptional people skills for motivating and coordinating teams across all levels
  • Demonstrated understanding of SQE practices
  • Preferred familiarity with the High Voltage infrastructure domain
