Water Well Drilling Offsider Entry

Work Location:
Cloudbreak - Fortescue's Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster:8D/6R - FIFO ex Perth

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operate drill rig support (mobile plant) equipment in accordance with the manufacture's (OEM) specifications and Fortescue's procedures.
  • Identify when consumables and supplies are to be ordered to ensure the continuous operation of the rig.
  • Attend and actively participate in toolbox & safety meetings to ensure work safe compliance and identify deficiencies and action plans.
  • Maintain & operate vehicles, tools and equipment to company standard to ensure the continuous operation of the rig.
  • Deliver general tasks by keeping drilling area clean and tidy to ensure hazards are identified / mitigated & follow all drilling safe work instruction (SWI).
  • Participate in water well drilling industry pathway training.
  • Conduct manual labour duties in an outdoor environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current HR licence.
  • High level of safety awareness and orientation.
  • Ability to work well in a team and unsupervised.
