The Role

  • Reporting to the Head of Investment Funds, The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the Product team in the lifecycle management of existing core product set. This includes transformation/simplification initiatives to ensure Insignia Financial's Asset Management offering remains fit for purpose across all channels and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Product team in driving required product simplification and transformation initiatives as part of the broader integration of investment products offered by IOOF and MLC
  • Understand success drivers behind each product and recommend enhancements in line with current or anticipated market changes to ensure products/projects can deliver to their objective
  • Lead product enhancements and seek required business approvals in a proactive and timely manner
  • Recommend terminations with the aim of simplifying product footprint
  • Monitoring capacity constraints and allocation across clients/channels
  • Understand and review product profitability by channel and make appropriate recommendations
  • Develop strong working relationships with all internal teams; in particular Distribution, Investment Governance, Investments Division and Ops
  • Engage with functional teams and SMEs to ensure material risk or opportunities related to all facets of a product/project are understood and addressed in a timely manner

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree
  • essential
  • Proven experience in asset management/wealth management products and projects
  • Sound understanding of investment and regulatory markets
  • Profitability modelling skills
  • CFA/Relevant post graduate qualification desirable
  • Experience in managing listed/ETF product
