About Your Workspace at the Y
YMCA Hilliard Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is situated in Alexandra Hills on the grounds of Hilliard State School and is licensed to accommodate up to 90 children. The facility boasts a large exclusive playground and outdoor area, inspiring educators to design enriching programs for students' social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Activities and programs at OSHC align with the YMCA Mission of nurturing body, mind, and spirit, guided by values like Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility. These principles are blended with 'My Time Our Place' framework and Victoria Point State School's educational standards to create engaging and fun-filled activities for children under our care.
About the Role
OSHC Educators are responsible for caring for children before and after school, as well as during holidays. Your role will involve organizing and conducting captivating, educational activities for primary school kids such as science experiments, outdoor games, painting, and music.
As an OSHC Educator, you will:

About You
- Hold a Certificate or Diploma in Children's Services or be pursuing a related qualification
- Possess a great sense of humor and a vivid imagination
- Hold or be willing to acquire current First Aid and CPR certification
- Have a Positive Notice Blue Card or be open to obtaining one
