Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for individuals with high-level qualifications in physical sciences and mathematics, eager to expand their skills and discover a deeper purpose. Successful candidates will receive training and contribute to building Australia's nuclear capability in the U.S.

Immediate opportunities await those interested in this mission. Candidates should be willing to return to Australia after the assignment.

Upon completion of the deployment, you will be involved in maintenance activities on the United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines in Western Australia.

Please note this is a civilian role with unique recruitment processes compared to active service defense recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate will have tertiary education in physical sciences/mathematics or relevant work experience. You must be eligible for Australian Defence Security Clearance, able to relocate to the U.S. by 2024, and possess strong communication skills.
