About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Scientist to work full-time in our client's High-Volume Automated Biochemistry department. You will enjoy working with a friendly team of passionate scientists.
You will participate in the day to day operation of the laboratory, working as part of a dedicated team. Duties include maintenance of instrumentation and equipment and compliance with accreditation and quality assurance requirements.
Reporting to the Chief scientist in Chemistry, this exciting role will involve the accurate and efficient testing of specimens, provision of quality assurance and operation of instrumentation, Validation of results, supporting the Chief and second in charge scientist on projects, as well as other ad-hoc duties as required.
About You:
To be considered for this role you will have:
- A Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science or Biomedical Science.
- Experience in a diagnostic Biochemistry Laboratory.
- High attention to detail with good organisational skills.
- Ability to work as an effective team member in a busy laboratory.
