Your Role:

_ About the Role_
In this role you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance at our sites across WA.


This is a full-time position reporting directly to the General Manager and liaising with all heads of departments across the Surge Fitness group.

The role of the group maintenance manager will include:

  • Managing all components of the groups leasehold improvements including scheduling of all servicing with the relevant contractors.
  • Complete monthly reviews and audits of all assets across the Surge Group.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance procedures whilst responding to lodged requests raised by the groups heads of departments.
  • Assist the general manager with maintenance planning & budgeted expenses.
  • Identify opportunities for improved efficiency to mitigate equipment downtime.
  • General maintenance requests including but not limited to basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical fixtures & fittings.
  • Desirable qualifications for this role include a background or experience in a relevant skilled trade.

‍

  • You will have demonstrated experience within a similar role and be confident and proficient in effectively working independently performing general repairs and maintenance.
  • You will have a strong understanding of safe work practices, including the ability to safely use a variety of tools.
  • You will need to have outstanding communication skills, be a team player and have a customer
- service mindset.

  • This role requires travel across WA sites so a full drivers license is a must.
