About our Karana Downs Centre
Edge Early Learning Karana Downs is our latest purpose-built early learning centre located behind Mount Crosby State School. We provide quality child care and education tailored to children from 6 weeks to school age.


At Karana Down's childcare centre, we are passionate about the health and well-being of children, which is why our program promotes healthy eating and active lifestyles.

Our custom-designed centre features indoor-outdoor learning spaces that enable children to harness their learning potential in a space that suits their interests.


Are you our next Edge Educator?

As an Educator you will:

  • Nurture, care and educate children from birth to 5 years of age.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with fellow Educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs.
  • Documenting children's learning and development.
  • Create a friendly, secure, and stimulating interactive learning environment.
  • Develop trusting and honest relationships with children, families, colleagues, management and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Have full availability Monday to Friday for shifts.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or 'actively working towards'
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID004) Certificate
  • Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
  • Prior experience as a Lead Educator is required

Up to $30.65 per hour
