About The Role:

The Commercial Advisor plays a critical role overseeing various aspects of the business to ensure it operates efficiently and profitably with its commercial activities and operations. The role will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in various commercial and property-related areas.

The Commercial Advisor will oversee Enterprise Asset Management policies and processes, manage leasing activities, act as a liaison with statutory authorities and services providers, and provide legal support in property matters. The role will be a key contributor to business case development and advising on wider Bendigo Kangan Institute's commercial activities and objectives.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or significant relevant experience
  • Proven experience in commercial advisory, property management or a related role
  • Strong understanding of asset management including compliance with relevant government direction and standards
  • Proven ability to implement strategies to achieve organisational efficiency and optimisation
  • Proficiency in contract management and legal matters related to property
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Stronger stakeholder management skills and experience
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing process development and change
