Job Description:

Our Family:

  • A vibrant, hardworking young couple with our first baby due in Feb 2024, we are looking for a loving, supportive and trustworthy nanny to join our family. Both born and bred in Melbourne, we work full time; one with a career in real estate and another running her own business in advertising. We lead jampacked lives between juggling work and looking after our 2 year old (well trained) Labrador.

Your Duties:

  • Responsibilities include;
  • Infant Care: Provide attentive and compassionate care to our newborn, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and development
  • Feeding:
Prepare and feed bottles, follow feeding schedules, and introduce age-appropriate solid foods

  • House Tidying:
Perform light housekeeping duties, including general tidying, organizing baby-related items, and maintaining a clean and safe environment

  • Basic Cooking:
Prepare simple and nutritious meals for the baby, following any dietary guidelines provided

  • Laundry:
Assist with laundry, ensuring baby clothes and linens are clean and well-maintained, and undertaking ironing and general washing as required - Dishwasher: Empty and load the dishwasher and keep baby bottles and utensils clean and sterilised

Our Perfect Caregiver:

  • We are seeking a trustworthy, dedicated, nurturing, positive and loving nanny to join our family and care for our first newborn baby boy, due mid Feb 2024. We are looking for an experienced nanny who has proven experience (with references) caring for a newborn, and children of all ages. We are looking for someone who is available 5 days per week
  • Mon through Fri, likely servicing hours 8:30am5:30pm (and able to be flexible as required). Weekends unlikely to be required at this stage.

Our successful nanny's qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in infant care with references
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent references from previous employers.
  • Genuine love for children and a nurturing personality.
  • Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
