My client is an educational institution looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Officer for a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling full accounts receivable functions, allocations, and billings;
- Matching EFT's, BPAY, Credit Cards, and Cheques daily;
- Conducting credit checks and risk reviews for new customers;
- Resolving disputed invoices efficiently;
- Reconciling major accounts;
- Assisting in income and payment processing;
- Collecting fees and following up on outstanding payments;
- Supporting the management of the Accounts Receivable system;
- Ensuring the maintenance of an effective credit control system.
Requirements for the Role:
- Minimum of three years' experience in accounts receivable and/or credit control;
- Building and maintaining customer relationships for payment collections;
- Demonstrating leadership skills;
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and V lookups;
- Adaptability to learn new systems and processes.
