As an Accounts Payable Advisor at Aurizon Corporate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. Your responsibilities will include providing expertise to both onshore and offshore AP teams, as well as assisting in coordinating and supervising all aspects of Accounts Payable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring internal controls, segregation of duties, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Develop and compile reports for senior management. Manage and reconcile all Accounts Payable General Ledger accounts, offering insights, analysis, and advice to stakeholders regarding Accounts Payable-related data.
  • Provide accurate and timely guidance in response to inquiries and requests from the Accounts Payable team, management, and both internal and external clients.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Participate in the implementation of internal controls.
  • Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Offer recommendations for enhancements, actions, and training initiatives.
  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external partners.

About You:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in accounts payable or procurement.
  • Extensive understanding of accounts payable and purchasing processes.
  • Advanced skills in preparing, analyzing, and presenting reports.
  • Proficient in providing high-quality professional advice to various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
