The area encompasses towns such as Nurioopta, Tanunda, and Angaston, and an array of high-profile wineries. We are seeking a trade-qualified maintenance person to join our expanding timber mill.

Qualifications & experience

  • Trade Certificate, either Engineering
  • Mechanical / or Engineering
  • Fabrication / or Maintenance Fitter / Boiler Maker;
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience desirable;
  • Work may consist of overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy times;
  • Day Shift and Afternoon Shift available;
  • Experience within an industrial / manufacturing environment;
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • Experience in a proactive workplace and a proactive manner;
  • Ability to work autonomously and use your initiative;
  • Must be able to strictly follow all safety procedures.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Execute mechanical maintenance activities as directed by the Leadership Team;
  • Respond to breakdown activities ensuring the plant is returned to operational status as efficiently as possible;
  • Raise detailed work requests for defects, and preventative maintenance plans to promote effective maintenance activities;
  • Manage work priorities in consultation with the Leadership Team to ensure safety and production are at the forefront of decisionmaking activities;
  • Monitor and assign resources as required to complete tasks on the Plant and Maintenance Work-InProgress lists.
