We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our top-notch Victorian Cardiology team. As part of our multidisciplinary service, you will be expected to consistently uphold high standards in both clinical and administrative patient care.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborating in our team-based care clinics to support the management of cardiovascular and structural heart patients, with a focus on enhancing patient outcomes and experiences.
- Preparing and organizing patient information before clinics.
- Conducting patient assessments and providing education.
- Assisting in generating accurate letters for referrers.
- Offering phone support to patients and their families between clinic visits.
- Maintaining open communication lines within your team, doctors, cardiac physiologists, and the administrative unit to ensure optimal patient care.
- Being willing to work flexibly across different sites as required.
What we're looking for in you:
- Registered Nurse eligible with AHPRA.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in cardiology, intensive care, or ED.
- Proven skills in advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking.
- Strong written communication abilities, essential for creating precise medical correspondence for GPs.
- Capability to handle patient issues over the phone.
- Devotion to delivering exceptional patient-focused care.
- Adaptability to changing environments.
- Proven capacity to work both independently and within a diverse team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Intermediate proficiency in computer skills and data management.
- Emphasis on Continuous Professional Development.
